Shinobi Village Guide

Most of the countries on each continent have their own hidden village where a ninja clan resides (although some of the small island nations don't have one because an invasion against them would be difficult to mount as they feel the need for a ninja clan is unnecessary). Each hidden ninja village serves as the military force for their country and have equal footing with the government. There are a total of nine known villages, five of them are considered to be the great lands of Shinobi.

The 5 Great Lands of Shinobi Villages

• Hidden Leaf Village (Konohagakure No Sato) - The Fire Shadow
• Hidden Mist and Fog Village (Kirigakure No Sato) - The Water Shadow
• Hidden Stone Village (Iwagakure No Sato) - The Earth Shadow
• Hidden Sand Village (Sunagakure No Sato) - The Wind Shadow
• Hidden Cloud Village (Kumogakure No Sato) - The Lighting Shadow
