Super Android 17
saga Episode 1 (42): The enemy is resurrected in hell
|
Do you remember the Leader of the robot Race Dr. Muy from early in
the baby saga? We see him walking in hell, wondering where he is.
He is confronted by Dr. Gero, Earth's most intelligent scientist.
Dr. Gero asks Dr. Muy for his help with the use of his Turglioed
technology. At first Dr. Muy laughs it off saying he feels bad
that Dr. Gero continued his research in hell. But Dr. Gero entices
Dr. Muy by telling him his main objective is to destroy Son Goku.
This idea appeals to Dr. Muy as they both agreed to team up.
Back on Earth at Bulma's house, Chi Chi prepares a feast using
animals from mount
Paozu
(dishes that look very appetizing but include rainbow toads and
centipede eel soup; this freaked out Bulma and Bra). Pan was
wondering where Trunks was, and just as Bulma said he should be
coming from work the door rings. As Pan answered the door, a
beaten Trunks falls to the ground and mutters "Number 17...he..."
Wondering what happened everyone comes to Trunks's aid. During the
commotion Pan notices a large black hole in the clouds, in what
appears to be a gateway to another world. Kaio-sama (sick with a
cold) communicates to Goku that something caused the underworld
and this world to connect. This large hole can be seen around the
entire world as Humans begin to panic. Far away we see Android 17,
somewhat hypnotized by a dark energy beam coming from the black hole
communicating with a 2nd android 17 in hell (called Hell Fighter
17). With the combined power of the two, they can open a gateway
from hell to Earth. The first stage of the 2 doctors' plan is
completed. With Dr. Gero's ideas and Dr. Muy's Machine Mutant
Theory, they were able to open a doorway to Earth. Dr. Gero
explains that Android 17 was suppose to be the real ultimate
Android, but because both Android 17 and 18 were angry that he
erased their original memories and because they betrayed him, he was never able
to complete the process. Dr. Gero built another Android 17 to
merge with the one on earth, and when that process is complete he
will be the most powerful android ever, even more powerful that
Perfect Cell. Now Dr. Gero will be able to get revenge on all the
humans! But first the 2 doctors must deal with their most hated
enemy Son Goku.
Back at Capsule Corporation,
Trunks described his confrontation with Android 17. He was on his
way to Goku's house from work riding in the Capsule Corporation limousine when all of the
sudden Android 17 attacked and destroyed the vehicle. Trunks was
stunned because he never really saw Android 17 before. He notes
that 17 has the same aura as number 18 (in the DBZ universe, the Z
warriors cannot feel the KI from androids, so this makes no
sense). Android 17 lunges an attack the towards the unconscious
limo driver. This causes Trunks to absorb 17's blast as he tries
to save him. Android 17 tells the beaten Trunks that
the black hole is a gateway to hell. All the enemies wanting to
get revenge on Goku have been resurrected and are coming to Earth.
He also sends a challenge to Son Goku daring him to enter hell and
fight the resurrected Cell and Freeza. The idea of fighting a
supped up Cell and Freeza is exciting to Goku, so he decides to go
there and see what's going on. Meanwhile in Saatan city
Trunks,
Goten, Pan and Vegita are handling business with some of the
feeble enemies from hell (here we see Pui Pui, Yarkon and some
weak enemies from the Red Ribbon getting destroyed very easily).
When Goku finally reaches hell, there he finds Dr. Gero, Dr. Muy and
Hell Fighter 17. Goku laughs at the fact that Dr. Muy is in hell.
Before you know it the 3 dead androids fly into the portal and
close it before Goku can escape with them. On Earth Pan notices
the hole closing and wonders if Goku will ever be able to get out
(she hugged Saatan in dispair, who she saved from some of the Red Ribbon army
bad guys). Goku is now stuck in hell. He goes into a tantrum
knowing he was setup, until he finds that Freeza and Cell are
indeed there. And they want to get revenge on Son Goku!
Super Android 17
saga Episode 2 (43): Fighters from hell - Cell and Freeza's
resurrection!
Freeza and Cell are ready to unleash their revenge on Goku; they
KI up showing how much power they have gained since being dead.
Goku shows he is beyond both Freeza and Cell by powering up even
more!
Back at Saatan city Uubu joins the fight as more and more
villains appear from hell (the Saibaimen's
are attacking the
citizens in the city). General Rurido from the dead is getting
ready to attack the defenseless Pan who is holding on to Mista
Saatan while flying. Just as the attack was about to hit both of
them, Gohan deflects it. He tells Pan to take Mista Saatan to
safety and to take cover as he prepares to fight the General
himself.
Goku toys around with Cell and Freeza and uses
their own attack against them. But as both enemies fall to the
ground seemingly defeated, Cell gets up and mentions that they
cant be killed in hell as they are already dead.
On Earth,
Vegita is approached by Dr. Gero who introduces Hell Fighter 17
(before this event Vegita had a brief encounter with
mute Napa
from the dead who he disposes of quickly). Vegita says
"...slightly better then the others I assume?"
They begin to
fight.
Both
Freeza and Cell launch more attacks at Goku. Cell tries to absorb
Goku with his tail, but was unsuccessful in his attempt. Goku
says: "you guys cant beat with old techniques as they have no
effect on me." Cell and Freeza happily agree and set up their new
attack that has never been used called the
HELL BUSTER (0_0'...).
This attack captures Goku and pushes him deeper into hell. When
Goku reaches the bottom (somewhere at the bottom...), Goku
encounters an odd entity (who looks
like a short old lady) in which she subjects him to many
different types of torture techniques (in actuality these turn out
to be gags of Goku being tortured on different senses: heat,
ticklishness, steam and ice; none of the gags actually hurt him
until the last one). In the last tortured even, Goku gets frozen
by a special machine that freezes its victims
in ice. Now Goku is frozen and cant move!

Things are getting worst on Earth as
everyone continued to fight the dead with mild success
(Goten, Trunks and Uubu fight off the Saibaimans, Gohan fights
General Rurido, and Vegita fights the Hell Fighter 17). Hell
fighter 17 mentally calls on his counter part Android 17 to come
and merge with him, and it appears that he will do so. However
Android 17 has one more thing he wants to do, find Android 18. He
confronted 18 on the highway (she was in a car with Krillin and
Marron) and attempted to invite her to
join them as they destroy the Earth (he uses the fact that they
are brother and sister to entice her). Will she go bad again and join Dr. Gero's
mutiny?
Super Android 17
saga Episode 3 (44): Two android 17 join together
Android 17 invites Android 18 to join him as he gets ready to
merge with Hell Fighter 17. At first Android 18 was hypnotized
with the idea of going with him, but Krillin tires to stop her by
reminding her she is his wife. This annoys 17 and because of that
he unleashes a critical KI blast at Krillin that instantly kills
him. Android 18 and Marron run to Krillin to see if he's OK, but
it appears that he is dead. Android 18 cries for a moment and
launches a strong punch towards 17. 17 says that he wanted
to keep 18 alive through all that will happen, but feels he has no
choice but to kill her now. 18 tells Marron to run and get away,
and with hesitation she takes off. 17 begins to aim his next shot
at Marron, but 18 steps in the way and absorbs the blast. This
knocks 18 to the ground beaten. 17 takes off thinking 18 was dead.
Before 18 goes unconscious she reaches out for Krillin, saying "I
love you Krillin."
Back in hell, Freeza and Cell gloat in front of a frozen Goku who
at the moment seems defenseless. As the two rivals get ready to
deliver the final blow, the ice around Goku begins to slowly melt.
The old lady says: "This is odd, the ice is reacting like someone
is alive in there." It turns out that the freeze machine will only
work on people who are dead. At the shock of Freeza and Cell, Goku
breaks free of the ice. Goku tells Freeza and Cell that he is
going to dispose of them quickly, kicks them towards the front of
the ice machine and freezes them (Goku accidentally knocks over
both of them while they are in ice and they break into pieces).
On
Earth Gohan appears to be in trouble as
General Rurido turns his arm and leg into metal. Just
as
Rurido was about to deliver the last blow,
Uubu saves the day blasting
him before he could do anymore damage. Pan, Mista Saatan and Giru
join the group. Vegita and Hell Fighter 17 continue to fight with
no clear winner. Vegita comments that Hell Fighter 17 is on the
same level as he is (even though Vegita is not a Super Saiya-jin).
The rest of the gang join Vegita, as well as the
second Android 17. Vegita was stunned at seeing two of the
androids side by side. Dr. Muy commands the androids to execute
the last stage by merging with one another. The two androids merge
and the result is Super 17 (looks
like an older version of Android 17). Vegita, feeling his pride slighted, launches an attack at
Super 17, with no success. Trunks, Goten and Uubu join in the
fight and are unsuccessful as well. Gohan tells them to stand
aside and attempts to use a Kamahameha, with no effect on the
super android. Dr. Gero tells Super 17 its his turn and commands
him to attack. Super 17 proves to be very strong as he beat each
fighter with one hit.
Now that Goku has taken care of
Cell and Freeza, he asks Emma to
get him out of hell so he can help Vegita on Earth. But Emma is
powerless to help Goku and refuse to do anything. While in Heaven
Piccolo thinks of a plan that might work to get Goku out of hell.
He
telepathically
contacts Emma and asks him if
he will be allowed to leave Heaven and enter hell. A reluctant
Emma refuses Piccolo as he cannot change the judgment that as been
passed on him. So Piccolo decides to cause havoc in Heaven to get
him expelled and sent to hell. This plan works like a charm as
Emma sends Piccolo to hell.
The situation on Earth is dire.
Trunk, Gohan, Goten and Uubu are easily beaten by Super 17. Vegtia
tired to use a new attack called Final Shine Attack. The attack,
while powerful, still had no effect on the super android. While
Goku watches the Super 17 beat the pulp out of everyone on earth,
Piccolo makes his enternce
and says that he knows a way to get Goku back to Earth!
Super Android 17
saga Episode 4 (45): The great escape from hell
Piccolo telepathically contacts Dende on earth (who is still Kami
of earth) and asks him for a favor. He believes that he and Dende
can create the same "resonation energy" that the android 17s used
to open a portal between hell and earth (Kaio-sama explained all
this to Piccolo, that's how he knew about it). He is hoping that
if the two try to point the energy towards each other a portal
will open (Goku compares this with Fusion, but Piccolo adds this
is the fusion of the hearts). At first try Piccolo and Dende fail
to accomplish this. Seems like they are not syncing the energy
between them correctly. Then they try it again; no good. Looks
like this may take a while.
Super 17 seems to be impossible
to beat: stronger than Goten, Gohan, Trunks, Uubu and Vegita.
Super 17 flings Goten, blast away at Trunks, and shoots bullets at
Uubu (-_-'... bullets? please...). Vegita is angry that Super 17
has surpassed him and continues to fight on. He KIs up again
for another attack only to be swatted away again.
During the ensuing melee on
earth Piccolo and Dende continue to try to open the portal. The problem
is that the 2 are not syncing the time they send the energy
correctly. They try again and again: one, two three - shoot...
they get close this time but nothing opens. Goku suggested that
Piccolo and Dende try a different method to sync the energy shot
together: instead of using 1, 2, 3, try using
SHRIMP BOWEL, PORK BOWEL, CHICKEN AND
EGG BOWEL (Piccolo freaks out at this, and tells Goku to stop
playing around; but Goku goes on to say that he used this idea
with Pan to beat another enemy). So, reluctantly Piccolo and Dende
use the idea, and it works! It takes great effort between Dende
and Piccolo to keep the portal open; Goku must quickly enter it
before it closes. Unfortunately for Piccolo, he has to stay in
hell as the portal will close without him there to keep it open.
Goku thanks Piccolo and bids him Farwell, taking off for earth.
Curiously at this time we see two of the Dragonballs on earth are
beginning to crack. Why
this is so..?
Super 17 continues to punish
Vegita who is now nearly unconscious. Dr. Gero gives the command
to quit playing around and finish him off. Super 17 complies and
begins to power up a KI blast toward Vegita. Pan, frustrated with
the situation, takes Dr. Gero hostage from behind and demands that
he tells Super 17 to stop the killing (Giru also helps by pointing
an instrument at Dr. Gero's ear; he must know some robotic
technique that will hurt Gero...). Dr. Gero is dumbfounded by the
strength of Pan. Scared that Pan and Giru might do something to
harm him he commands Super 17 to stop the attack. Super 17
complies and in a shocking move he turned his hand against Dr.
Gero himself and begins to power up a KI blast again. Dr. Muy
reveals that while in hell he reprogrammed the Hell Fighter 17 to
work on his command only and that he is now a
Machine Mutant: "Taking over the galaxy will be easy with Super
17, who is now a Machine Mutant!" Dr. Gero was stunned by this and
sad that 17 will once again turn on him. Super 17 sends a blast to
Dr. Gero exploding him into pieces also hurting Pan and Giru
nearby. Dr. Muy continues to say that without Son Goku here, there
can be no one to stop him. Vegita with his powerful pride, gets
angry and says "why does Kakaroto have to save this planet; I'm
good enough to do so myself!" Vegita KIs up again, and will not
stay down even when he is beaten! Dr. Muy commands Super 17 to
turn his attention on Vegita and destroy him. Super 17 blast a KI
shot at Vegita and just as its about to hit him, Goku pushes him
out the way saving him. Dr. Muy is stunned to see Goku escaping
from hell. Now that Goku is back, he can take on Super 17.
Can Goku save the day?
Super Android 17
saga Episode 5 (46): Super Saiya-jin 4 Goku VS Super 17!

The battle between Goku and Super 17 begins. Goku turns into Super
Saiya-jin and stuns Super 17 with a punch which sends him halfway
across the earth. Super 17 retaliates with an attrack called the
Flash Bomber, that goes
halfway around the world. Goku is too quick for this and in return
counter attacks (across the earth) with another strong punch. The
punch connects, but this time Super 17 is not fazed: "I've seen
all this before. I know all your attacks" Goku sends another round
of various attacks and Super 17 is not impressed. He begins to
pound on Goku and beat him senseless. It seems that Goku is now
beaten; at his current form he cannot beat Super 17. He powers up
again and shoots more KI blasts towards 17. Here we see the first
sign of Super 17's secret. Dr. Muy comments that Goku is an idiot,
blasting him with more KI will only make him more powerful. Goku
powers up and blasts a
Kamehameha with no success. Super 17 walked it off like
nothing happened. He punched and kicked Goku to the ground. As
this happens Goku wonders why his Kamehameha has no affect on
Super 17. Goku eventually gets knock into the water. Dr.
Muy says "I know you cant be beaten this easily Goku, come out a
fight!" When Goku emerges from the water he has
transformed into Super Saiya-jin 4.
Dr. Muy says "who are you?! Bastard!" Goku says "I am Super
Saiya-jin 4 Son Goku!" "WHAT!?" Dr. Muy replies.
At
the Son's house, Chi-Chi and Videl humorously prepare to fight
evil and save the world (Bulma
cant believe all this). Back to the fight, SS4 Goku and
Super 17 begin to trade punches. Goku continues to
blast 17 with more powerful KI
shots, which again, seems to have no effect on the android.
"Keep shooting at Super 17, Son Goku. Your too stupid to realize
what your actually doing." thinks Dr. Muy. During this time Goku
wonders (still unaware of Super 17 secret) if Super 17 really knows all of his techniques as he said
earlier. Its at this time Goku realized what is really happening:
Super 17 is absorbing all of the KI attacks shot at him (and all
his techniques as well). Dr. Muy notes that Goku finally
realizes the truth. At thats very moment Goku disappears. "Where's
Goku?!?" Dr. Muy asks. Out of no where Goku appears and blasts a
Kamehameha TIMES 10 at Super 17. Super 17 struggled a bit, but in
the end absorbed all of the attack's energy with no problems (he
actually looked excited when
absorbing the energy). Dr. Muy says the Super 17 is perfect:
the Ultimate Mutant Machine, he cannot be beaten. "Show him your
full power!" Dr Muy commands to Super 17.
The battle continued to ensue. Goku tried different things and
nothing worked; Super 17 can predict whatever Goku will do.
After a powerful attack from 17,
Goku lays on the ground uninspired. "Looks like I'm going to
the other side again after all. I want to go to Heaven, hell's
food is not so good..."
Super Android 17
saga Episode 6 (47): Goku and 18's two step attack
All is hopeless. Goku is down, uninspired to fight. Dr. Muy laughs
and gloats at the superiority of his and Dr. Gero's creation.
Super 17 powers up a dark KI blast and shoots it at Goku.
Just as the attack is about to hit Goku,
he teleports behind 17 and grabs him.
Super 17 could not break free of Goku's grip. What Goku plans to
do is blow himself up, while grabbing on to Super 17 hoping the
attack will destroy him in the process (in a humorous moment Super
17 panics and says that he does not want Goku touching him; but
Goku says I don't want to touch you either, but its all I can
think off!). Dr. Muy was a bit concerned when Goku reveled his
plan. Goku quickly sets his plan in motion and explodes leaving a
great shock on earth!
After the explosion subsides Goku is now normal and is laying on
the ground injured: " I cant even lift my arm." At first Dr. Muy
panics in despair, but Super 17 emerges from a nearby lake and
survived the attack. "If I had not use a barrier a the last second,
I would have been destroy." Says Super 17. Dr. Muy rejoices and
commands 17 to finish off Goku now! Super 17 prepares another KI
attack at Goku (he is too injured to move) and as he powers up the
attack Android 18 steps in and
tells him to stop: "How dare you kill Krillin! I wont forgive you
for this!" (Goku was shocked and upset to hear this). Android 18
taunts Super 17 saying he is a coward for not killing her earlier
because he was afraid the bomb in her would explode (Goku
reminisce over the fact that 18 already had the bomb moved from
her by Shenron at the end of the Cell saga, and that she was
bluffing. "Great bluff number 18!" thinks Goku). Dr. Muy says that
it does not matter if you are near the bomb or not, just attack
both of them and not worry about it. But the he goes on to insult
Super 17 saying he's pathetic and possibly a coward. This angered
Super 17 and in another shocking event, he turned on Dr. Muy and
destroyed him! 17 turned his
attention back on 18 and Goku and begins to prepare another
KI attack. 18 began her attack and shot multiple continuous KI
blasts at 17. As we already know, 17 absorbed the blasts. At first
Goku tired to stop 18, as he knows it will be useless. But during
the time 17 absorbed the KI blasts Goku observed it leaved him
wide open to attack. Now that he realized this, Goku encouraged 18
to keep firing. He jumped in front of 18, dashed towards 17 (who
is absorbing all of 18's attacks) and executed the
RYU GEN EXPLOSION attack!
This leaves a big hole in Super 17. Then in the final blow, Goku
unleashes a normal Kamehameha that destroyed the super android!

In
an effort to bring order to the world (ravaged by the resurrected
dead from hell) and to bring Krillin backto life, Goku and his
friends set out to collect the Dragonballs of earth. But if we
remember last time, a few of the Dragonballs were beginning to crack.
It appears now all of them are
cracked! This had everyone concerned as this have never
happend before. Bulma was wondering if the Dragonballs would even
work. Goku says "lets not worry about it, I'm sure it will be OK;
maybe we can ask Shenron what's wrong when he comes out." So they
gathered the Dragonballs and summoned Shenron. At first nothing
happened, but at the second call something did emerge, and it was
not Shenron: "I feel bad KI all around here!" Goku says. It turns
out that the Dragon that did emerge was the Evil Shenron. What
could this mean? A great danger on
earth is about to emerge!
