Evil Shenron
saga Episode 1 (49): The dragon that uses the fearful secret
art
Because the Dragonballs were used too many times, it gathered too
much minus energy and thus 7 Evil Dragons are born and have taken
away the Dragonballs. Goku and Pan have set out to recapture the
Dragonballs and discover a way to fix them.
They approach the first Shenron who holds the 2 star Dragonball.
This Shenron is odd because he seems very week. He claims to be
the most fearful and devastating of all Shenron. But at the
moment, the contrary is the case. Pan beats the first Shenron with
ease, pounding and beating him senseless. Goku wonders if this
Shenron is really weak and warns Pan to be careful. Throughout the
fight Goku wonders, what's the catch with this Shenron, is he
really weak? As Pan continues to beat the first Shenron, he
continues to insist that he is strong and will beat Pan. Goku
comes up with the idea that maybe this guy can transform and
become stronger (much like Freeza), but the first Shenron reveals
he has no such ability. Maybe he is really weak... Pan patronizes
the Shenron asking him to give up already and hand over the
Dragonball. The first Shenron stands by his earlier comments that
he is the strong one and insults Pan on her looks. This upsets her
and she continues to pound on the Shenron. She beats and knocks
him down like last time, but this time, she is out of
breath. Goku continues to observe the fight and eventually
realizes Pan is tiring out, and the first Shenron is not. The
first Shenron insults Pan again. This causes her to make another
round of punches and kicks. But this time, the first Shenron
defends the attacks. "He's defending my attacks!" Pan says in
frustration. Goku, unsure of what is really going on tells Pan to
hurry up and finish the fight. In a tone of annoyance Pan takes a
swipe at the first Shenron and misses. With that miss the first
Shenron punches Pan in the stomach and grabs her. Goku realizing
that Pan is in trouble dashes and attacks the first Shenron. He
misses by a small margin and gets caught as well. With Pan in one
hand and Goku in the other, he smashes the two together and throws
them at a hill.
Goku attempts to transform into a Super Saiya-jin, but suddenly
turns back to normal. Goku says "why am I turning back to normal?
Something is absorbing my KI..." The first Shenron reveals his
aura is poisoning a nearby lake (that
really stinks badly), and this is causing the whole
area to be filled with the minus energy (this was built up in the
Dragonballs). "So that's what it was!" Goku says. The minus energy
is eating away at Goku and Pan's KI making them weaker as time
goes by. The first Shenron is not getting stronger, Pan and Goku
are becoming weaker allowing him to beat them easily (he also
reveals he was the result of the minus energy produced by Upa's
Father being brought back to life). He grabs and throws both of
them into the minus energy infested lake. It seems that both Pan
and Goku are beat as they cannot move with the infected water
around them. Giru, unaffected by the minus energy, grabs Pan and
drags her (under water) to an area where the water is not
infected. Pan asks Giru to also get he Grandpa. When Giru arrives
with Goku, they discover a small spring valve underwater that is
leaking uninfected water. Pan comes up with the idea that if they
were to open the valve some more, the water sprout out overcoming
the infected water in the lake. Goku does a Kamehameha to open the
valve causing the spring to overflow with water in the lake. The
gush of water pushes out Pan and Goku. Now that they know the
first Shenron's secret they can attack him at full power before
his aura destroys their KI. Goku and Pan power up quickly and
shoot a Kamehameha at the first Shenron. It destroys him with
ease.
As
the first Shenron is beaten the 2 star Dragonball emerges. It
appears that this Dragonball and the surrounding area are
returning to their normal state. Now its off to the next
Dragonball.
Evil Shenron
saga Episode 2 (50): The Electric Shenron: U Shenron!
At Capsule Corporation,
everyone seems concerned with what is really happening with Goku,
Pan and the Dragonballs. Videl was mad at Pan for leaving without
telling anyone and Chi-Chi told herself she was counting on Goku
to come through.
Meanwhile Goku, Pan and Giru continue their search for the
Dragonballs; Giru is using his Dragonball radar to track them. The
next one is nearby a small town that seems to be deserted. Looks
like Pan is thirsty (she is bugging Goku for some juice), so she
uses a soda machine nearby. Goku looks around the city wondering
why the place is so deserted. Pan puts some change in the soda
machine and chooses the juice that she wants. At first nothing
happens. She presses her choice again wondering what the heck is
wrong with this machine. Instead of a can of juice dropping, a
purple goo oozes out the mouth of the machine. Goku and Pan put up
their defenses unsure of what it was. It turns out the goo is
every where: on the traffic lights, TVs, lamps anything with
electricity. An old couple approaches Goku and Pan and they
explain the purple goo has been sucking the city's electricity and
its citizens have abandoned the place. They warn the two to be
careful as the goo is growing.

The second Shenron, who holds
the 5 star Dragonball emerges and calls himself U - Shenron.
He warns that the first Shenron was the weakest and, he is much
more powerful (Goku is really skeptic at this point as U Shenron
emerges as a shrimp) U Shenron uses the purple goo to attack Pan
and Goku. The goo latches on and electrocutes both of them. As it
turns out the attack was pretty worthless as both brush it off. U
Shenron realizes he needs to get serious and commands all of the
goo to come to him. All the goo attaches to U Shenron; the more
goo that is absorb, the larger U Shenron becomes. U Shenron
becomes a big monster after absorbing all of his goo.
He reveals he was the result of the
minus energy produced by Goku's resurrection during the Vegita and
Napa saga. U Shenron uses the attack called Dragon Thunder to
attack both Goku and Pan. The attack
electrocutes both of them
even more! Pan attempts to attack the Shenron with no success.
Goku punches U Shenron only to have his attack bounced back. Both
Pan and Goku get beaten with the Dragon Thunder attacks by U
Shenron.
Goku emerges again, only this time as
Super Saiya-jin 4. U Shenron
uses the Dragon Thunder to attack SS4 Goku again, but this
time it's useless. "Its relaxing and feels good" says Goku. Goku
powers up and shoots a Kamehameha TIMES 10 at U Shenron, only to
have it bounced back at him and Pan (U Shenron's large stomach
allows him to stop such attacks). The counter attack leaves Goku
and Pan beaten, unable to do anything else (Goku returns to
normal). U Shenron gets cocky,
latches on to the power cables and
continues to grow more powerful (his body grows uncontrollably). U
Shenron captures and encapsulates both
Pan and
Goku and electrocutes them constantly. This knocks out Pan and slowly puts
Goku to sleep. All of the sudden, Goku wakes up and finds
U
Shenron in a panic. It begins to rain and cause U Shenron's body
to short and explode. We see U Shenron knocked to the floor
conceding defeat. As Pan attempts to take the Dragonball from U
Shenron, he attempts one more attack and tries to capture Pan once
more. Pan quickly escapes and Goku powers up and shoots a
Kamehameha at U Shenron, destroying him.
The 5 star Dragonball emerges and like the 2 star Dragonball, it returns to it's normal
state.
